Antony Dannecker Pro Harp with Aluminum Comb Key of G
$349.00

Antony Dannecker Harmonicas was a premium custom harmonica workshop run by Dr. Antony Dannecker in the United Kingdom. Loved in the harmonica community for its exceptional airtightness, responsiveness, and tone, the workshop has now closed, but I found this overseas and brought it in for someone to grab it! This is in G with a metal comb.

Hohner XB-40 in C
$280.00

The Hohner XB-40 Extreme Bender is a 10-hole diatonic harmonica designed by Rick Epping that lets players bend every note both upward and downward using traditional blues techniques. Introduced by Hohner in the early 2000s, it expanded the capabilities of a 10-hole harp by fitting 40 reeds into a single frame. Discontinued around 2012 due to manufacturing costs and niche complexity, it remains sought after on the secondary market.

Hering Vintage 1923 set of 7
$699.00

Hering 1923 Vintage Harps were made by Hering in Brazil. This is old school, warm and rich with Brazilian wood! The reeds are extra thick and durable! These are getting harder to find and I love the brass look and the beautiful tone. Fully cleaned and UV sanitized. New case included. I would be keeping this set, but we need to buy some harmonicas for some kids.

Hohner Deuce and a Quarter with a Blue Moon Brass Comb in the Key of A
$249.00

The Hohner Model 225 "Deuce and a Quarter" is a rare, limited-edition diatonic harmonica released by Hohner around 2007 and 2008. It was built using Hohner's Modular System (MS) and specifically styled to invoke the classic 1959 Buick Electra 225—a nod to the golden era of Chicago blues. I found one and added an amazing Brass Blue Moon Comb. It feels like it weighs about a pound!

Who We Are

Welcome to Turtle Harp, my name is Kress, aka Turtle, and my wife, Christel and I started this store to celebrate our love for music and especially the Harmonica! As proud members of the Society for the Preservation and Advancement of the Harmonica (SPAH), we're passionate about supporting and sharing the rich tradition, community, and joy that this remarkable instrument brings.

We believe music should feel like a discovery: simple, joyful, and full of curiosity. At Turtle Harp, we create experiences that spark joy and curiosity, making it easy for both harmonica players and newcomers to connect with music in a playful, personal, and lively way.

We’re here to take the pressure out of learning music. No experience needed! Just curiosity. Every experience we create is designed to help you explore at your own pace, turning small moments into something musical, meaningful, and fun.

Like a turtle, we move with intention: steady, grounded, and full of purpose. Every experience we offer is meant to help people move forward on their own musical journey, one note at a time, with more hope, joy, and confidence than before.

That same spirit extends beyond Turtle Harp through Harmonicas for Hope, our nonprofit initiative dedicated to sharing the educational and uplifting power of music with students, seniors, camps, and communities in need. Every Turtle Harp purchase helps support this mission, turning a simple instrument into an opportunity for learning, connection, and encouragement.

Together, we're creating more than harmonicas, we're creating moments of joy, building confidence, and bringing hope to those who need it most.
